I wanted to fill a room with sound using the devices people already had in their pockets — no app to install, no account to make, no subscription to feed it. The tools that existed all wanted everyone to download the same thing first, and half the room never would.
So I built one that lives in the browser. You open a room, drag in your music, and anyone can scan a QR code on any phone to lock into the same audio stream. It plays directly through the browser — nothing to download.
Getting the synchronization right was the hard part, and there are still rough edges — TVs and Bluetooth devices are tricky. But for anything that loads and plays quickly, it's seamless. It's mostly for listening to your own music, with YouTube integration for tracks you don't own.
